Firstly, if you are reading this Greetings to you, hope you are blessed and well?!

We are kaleema and Kareema, twin sisters, and owners of Livity Plantbased Cuisine. Both professionally trained chefs, we have worked in the industry for about 15 years, working in some of London’s top restaurants. We started cooking at a young age. We love to make people happy through our food. You could say we are feeders. After working in our jobs while turning “vegan” We use that term loosely. We decided it was time to leave the kitchens behind and start our journey cooking food we love. Food free from cruelty, given to us by the earth, food that was designed for us. It is important to us that we keep our food affordable and accessible to all.

Livity was created out of our passion for food, most importantly plant-based foods. We wanted a brand that would be a true representation of what we stand for and a reflection of our selves. All our dishes are inspired by food we ate growing up and from our home country Jamaica. When we first changed our diet our first introduction to plant-based food was always associated with ital. Growing up the only people we knew who ate this way were Rastafarians. So that is where our inspiration comes from and the reason why we call our food ital. Ital being plant based whole foods.
